City's Fire Hydrant Flushing Begins May 10th
The Solon Fire Department will begin its annual fire hydrant maintenance program May 10th. Check the Fire Department schedule daily for the streets where flushing is due to occur. Due to emergency calls, we cannot provide times for when the flushing will occur on a specific street. Hydrant flushing may cause a temporary discoloration of your tap water. To clear the discoloration, simply run the cold water until the lines clear.  Read FAQs for additional information.
