1. How do I register for a class?

Registration for all Arts4Kids and general classes can be completed in person at SCA, or, for your convenience, patrons may fill out a registration form, complete it, email it as an attachment to soloncenterforthearts@solonohio.org, fax it to (440) 337-1404 or mail it to

SCA registration is not complete without a signed registration form and payment. Registration cannot be taken over the phone. All registration for private instruction, including private music, theater, and art lessons, must be completed in person at SCA.

2. How do I purchase tickets for performances at SCA?

Patrons may purchase tickets in person at SCA, over the phone by calling (440) 337-1400, by mail, or by fax. If you choose to purchase your tickets by phone, mail, or fax, SCA will process requests in the order that they are received and give you the best available seats. View the seating chart for the location of your seats.

Please note that all seats are reserved and are processed on a first come first serve basis. Patrons are strongly advised to review the date and time of the performance prior to purchasing tickets. SCA tickets cannot be exchanged and are non-refundable and non-transferable.

3. What is the class withdrawal policy at SCA?

To withdraw from a class, an adult must call SCA or go to the SCA front desk and speak with a staff member. A $5 service charge will be assessed on all refunds. Refunds processed after the class begins on the first day will be given a refund in the amount of 50% of the registration fee. After the first day of class, there is a no refund policy.

If a refund is less than $10, a gift certificate will be issued for the remaining amount. Refunds are handled through the City of Solon Finance Department and may take three to four weeks to process.

4. What is the private lesson withdrawal policy?

If a student withdraws from private lessons at any time prior to the last date to withdraw, the remaining amount paid (less charges for lessons taken or missed without 24 hours notice) will be refunded. A $5 service charge will be assessed on all private lesson refunds.

If a refund is less than $10, a gift certificate will be issued for that amount. Refunds are handled through the City of Solon Finance Department and may take three to four weeks to be processed. Withdrawal from private lessons must occur at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled lesson.

5. What is the last date to withdraw policy?

Private lesson registration reserves each student’s regularly scheduled lesson time for the entire semester. Late term withdrawal prohibits new students from enrolling and filling the instructor's vacant time. In order to ensure consistent enrollment during the final few weeks of the term, SCA has created a last date to withdraw policy. Students that withdraw after this date will not be eligible for a refund of the remaining lesson account balance.
