Grantwood Golf Course

Grantwood Golf Course and Timberlake Recreation Park is a spacious green belt area purchased by the City of Solon in 1972. It consists of an 18-hole golf course with a large clubhouse, which includes a snack bar, pro-shop, meeting rooms, and a banquet facility that will accommodate 165 people.

Catering services are also available. In addition, a large shelter house is utilized on the site for golf outings, clambakes, and parties.

A natural park with a large fishing lake, two shelter houses and numerous outdoor grills is located adjacent to the golf course for picnics and outdoor gatherings.

The Grantwood facility is governed by the Grantwood Board of Trustees. This nine member board is appointed by the Mayor and each trustee serves an overlapping six year term.

Under the direction of Mayor Susan A. Drucker, City Council, the Grantwood Board of Trustees, Superintendent/Manager Gary Mazzeo, Golf Pro Scott Pollack, and Administrative Manager Leslie Sobey, the City has upgraded and improved a valuable community asset that is regarded as one on the finest public courses in the area.To find out more about Grantwood, please visit our website...
