The International Trade Division (ITD) of the Ohio Department of Development promotes the export of Ohio products and services to strengthen Ohio's economy and advance its leadership position in the global marketplace.  ITD provides Ohio companies with market research; performs agent and distributor searches; participates in trade shows; organizes trade missions; assists with export finance, and provides logistical support in foreign countries where their offices are located.  All of these services are free of charge to Ohio manufacturers.
Ohio's international trade offices are located in Brussels, Belgium; Tokyo, Japan; Hong Kong, People's Republic of China; Toronto, Canada; Tel Aviv, Israel; Mexico City, Mexico; Sao Paulo, Brazil; Santiago, Chile; Buenos Aires, Argentina; and Johannesburg, South Africa.

ITD also works with the Economic Development Division to promote Ohio and attract foreign investments into the state.
