Police Department

The mission of the Solon Police Department is to achieve excellence in service, protection and enforcement; and to preserve the peace of the community through dedication to professionalism, integrity, proficiency, and education.

Under the direction of the Chief of Police, Wayne Godzich, the Administrative Staff is responsible for organizing, directing, and coordinating all police resources to serve the citizens of Solon. The Mayor serves as the Director of Public Safety.
