Success StoryAs a community service the Solon Police Department has implemented a program to assist victims of crime. This program was developed to help and assist victims that have suffered physical or emotional trauma. The Victim Assistance program identifies victims through Solon criminal offense reports. All information is kept confidential and there is no fee for our services.
Our program does a follow-up with the victim. This follow-up includes: informing the victim of their rights, offering assistance throughout the judicial system, and provide referrals for counseling.
