Service Department

The objective of the Solon Service Department is to insure a safe and healthy residential and business environment for the citizens of Solon.

This is accomplished by providing a wide variety of services including residential solid waste collection and disposal, recycling and composting program, repair and maintenance of roadways, sewers, public properties, green areas and other City facilities, and assistance to any City department or organization to the extent of our ability and responsibility.
