PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE ZONING CODE:  The Council will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, November 18, 2019 at 7:30 P.M. at Solon City Hall to consider an amendment to the Zoning Code creating an “R-3-C” (Multi-Family–Special Needs) District Zoning Classification.

PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE ZONING CODE:  The Council will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, November, 18, 2019 at 7:30 P.M. at Solon City Hall to consider an amendment to the Zoning Code to expand restaurant uses in the “C-2” (Restricted Commercial) and “C-6” (General Commercial) Zoning Districts.  Read more here.

PROPOSED REZONING:   The Solon City Council held Public Hearings on July 1, 2019 and July 15, 2019, at 7:30 P.M. at Solon City Hall, 34200 Bainbridge Road, regarding a request to rezone Permanent Parcel No. 952-26-018 located on Solon Road from the  “C-3” Commercial Zoning District to the “I-2” Industrial Manufacturing Zoning District. PROPOSED REZONING:  The Solon City Council held Public Hearings on June 17, 2019, July 1, 2019 and July 15, 2019 at Solon City Hall, 34200 Bainbridge Road, to consider a new Mixed Use Zoning District and proposed rezoning of certain parcels from the C-3 and C-4 Commercial Districts to an MPD-A Mixed Use Planning District (More Information).

PROPOSED CHARTER AMENDMENTS:  Ordinance No. 2019-107 proposing amendments to Article IV, Section 5(c), and Section 6, Article V, Section 4, Article IX Title and, adding Article IX Section 1(a)(4), and amending Article IX, Section 1(d), Repealing Article IX, Section 1(e) and amending Article XIV Sections 1 and 2, and adding Article XIV Section 3 pertaining to Initiative Petitions and Elections on Zoning Code, Land use and Zoning map changes in the Solon City Charter, and declaring an emergency.  A copy of Ordinance No. 2019-107 is available for review in the Clerk of Council’s office at Solon City Hall during normal business hours.
