Duties & Responsibilities

The Solon Human Resources Department is responsible for a myriad of tasks relating to employee relations, training, recognition, benefits, compensation, recruitment, selection, and retention.


The Human Resources Department provides leadership and guidance to the Administration in the management, employee relations, recruitment, selection and retention of an empowered workforce which enhances and improves the value of the community as a leading place in which to live, work and raise a family.

This is achieved and supported by an array of services, programs, policies and procedures that recognize that our employees are our greatest asset.
