Banquet Hall
A great event begins with a fantastic and friendly venue. The City of Solon Community Center features an elegant banquet hall to serve as the ideal backdrop for a variety of events including weddings, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, holiday parties, corporate meetings, fund-raising galas and school reunions.
The Solon Community Center Banquet Hall setup is completely customizable based on your group size and needs. Our Banquet Hall boasts 3,300 square feet of space including, a beautiful wood laminate dance floor, and a full kitchen. The banquet hall can be rented as one large room to accommodate up to 240 people based on program and set-up, or it can be separated into three separate rooms. The banquet hall opens to a beautiful terrace, which is ideal for cocktails, dining alfresco or just for conversation. All three banquet rooms have a projector, drop-down ceiling screens for audio-visual presentations and come equipped with a PA system and internet service. A wireless microphone and a sound converter to play your playlist from your phone or iPad over the speaker system are available for a nominal rental fee. The Solon Community Center provides tables and chairs while the renter is responsible for all event decorations.
Events being held on Friday and Saturday must conclude by 11:00pm and be cleaned up by 12:00am. Programs being held Monday through Thursday must conclude and be cleaned up by 9:00pm. Sunday programs must be finished and cleaned up by 5:00pm.
The Solon Community Center allows renters to use the caterer of their choice. Alcohol is permitted at functions.
If an event is held after Solon Community Center hours or has alcohol, a security officer must be present. The Solon Recreation Department will secure the officer, and the renter is responsible to pay the officer at the start of the function. The hourly rate is set and is subject to change by the Solon Police Department.
Renters must complete a Rental Contract and provide a $300 refundable security deposit when booking a room.

Saturday Rate:
There is a minimum charge of $1,400 for Saturday rentals. The banquet hall will be available as of 1:00pm and is not separated.
Meeting Rooms
The Solon Community features two meeting rooms that are ideal for groups ranging in size from 10 to 65 based on the program and requested room set-up. Each separate room features Internet access, and a dry erase board. Meeting Room A has direct access to the kitchen. Meeting Room B features a projector and a drop-down ceiling screen for audio-visual presentations.

Youth Lounge
The Youth Lounge is ideal for small meetings or parties of groups up to 30 people. Even though this room is not directly connected to the banquet kitchen, renters have access to the kitchen if necessary. This room has a rental rate of $50 per hour for a Service Group and a rate of $60 per hour for a Private Group.
Arts & Crafts Room
The Arts and Crafts Room is ideal for small meetings or parties of groups up to 25 people. This room does not offer access to the kitchen. This room has a rental rate of $30 per hour for a Service Group and $40 per hour for a Private Group.
