The City of Solon is extremely fortunate to have on staff highly qualified personnel that maintain all trees in the city right of way. These trees include all street trees and any tree that is on city property. The Service Department usually has 2 street tree plantings a year. Once in the Spring and another in the Fall. We remove any dying, dead, diseased or hazardous trees. In conjunction with our plantings, we also do annual street tree pruning. So please do not prune or trim any street trees on your property. If your street tree needs work or attention, please feel free to contact the Service Department.
