Mission

The mission of the Solon Blue Ribbon Adapted Recreation Program is to provide community-based recreation and leisure activities for persons with developmental disabilities, enabling each to enhance his or her personal potential by sharing in the emotional, social, and physical benefits fostered by such community-based activities.

Blue Ribbon programs are open to non-Solon residents as well as residents.

Options to Register:

  • Visit the City of Solon website. On the home page, click on the “Program Signup” button (clipboard icon). On the next screen, you can Create an Account/Login. Click on Browse Programs, then REC-Blue Ribbon to view/register for a programs)
  • In person at the Solon Community Center, 6am-7pm weekdays/8am-5:30pm weekends.

In order to obtain the most up to date programming information, it is highly recommended to subscribe to our “Notify Me” email list(s). Just go to the City of Solon website, click on “Notify Me” (envelope logo) and follow the directions to subscribe to Blue Ribbon Recreation Participants and/or Blue Ribbon Recreation Volunteers.
