[ARCHIVED] Smoke Testing

Work crews will be smoke testing all properties in the boundary of Aurora, Solon and SOM Center Road the week of September 12th 2011. The smoke you see coming in from the vent stacks on building or holes in the ground is NON-TOXIC, NON-STAINING, HAS NO ODOR, WHITE TO GRAY IN COLOR AND CREATES NO FIRE HAZARD.

The smoke should not enter your home or building unless you have defective plumbing or dried up drain traps. It is advisable for the owner or resident to pour a gallon of water into each floor drain prior to our testing.

IMPORTANT! If there is any individual in your home or building who has respiratory problems and is immobile, please notify Marci Rizzo at the Service Department 440-248-5834 ext. 1974 prior to testing.
