Utility work is set to begin on August 7, 2017 for the upcoming SOM/Aurora Intersection Improvement Project. The purpose of the work is to relocate existing Illuminating Company utilities prior to construction of the intersection project. The utilities needing relocated are on the east side of SOM Center Road, therefore only traffic in the northbound lanes will be effected. The relocation work is expected to last approximately 6-8 weeks, weather permitting. Please exercise patience for the duration of the work, since delays are expected.
