The City of Solon will be working with the Village of Oakwood on the Richmond Road Resurfacing Project, a project designed for resurfacing of Richmond Road from Columbus Road to the southern corporate limit and rehabilitating culverts within that area. The City has been notified of a detour that will go into effect from July 24, 2017 for a period of two weeks, weather permitting. Please be aware that the duration of the project will be longer than the detour period, with a substantial completion date of September 12, 2017.
