The Solon Service Department mosquito trapping records have shown a rise in the adult mosquito population throughout the City. With this rise in the population, the Service Department will be conducting a citywide treatment for adult mosquitoes. Zones 1 and 2 will be treated on Tuesday, June 26th and zones 3 and 4 will be treated on Thursday, June 28th. The zones are posted on the City’s website at solonohio.org. The treatment will begin at 8:00 PM and will be concluded by 11:30 PM each day. In the event there is rain on Tuesday, June 26th both dates will be pushed back one day accordingly to Wednesday and Friday. If rain occurs on Thursday, June 28th only, this date will be pushed back one day to Friday.
