    1. Dumpster Drop Program
      A maximum of three (3) dumpster drops per day. Please check the Dumpster calendar for availability. This year’s Dumpster Drop program runs from June 2, 2021 - October 1, 2021 We cannot guarantee the pickup time. Any Drop may be cancelled or rescheduled, at our option, due to weather or other special conditions. If you must cancel, please give at least 24 hour notice. Emergency situations supersede any requests. Advanced notification will be provided whenever possible.
    2. Dumpster Drop
      The City will have a maximum of three (3) Dumpsters available Monday, Wednesday and Friday. We REQUIRE 72 hours advanced notice. We will drop off dumpsters: Monday drops - morning to early afternoon, and Wednesday/Friday drops - morning before noon. Monday and Wednesday dumpster drops will be picked up the following day by 9:00 AM. Friday dumpster drops will be picked up the following Monday by 9:00 AM. No Drops will take place on Monday, July 5th and Monday, September 6th.
    3. Cart Drop
      Please DO NOT use this form for additional carts. Please contact the Service Department directly if you need to borrow additional carts.
    4. SOLON SERVICE DEPARTMENT WILL CONTACT YOU WITH APPROVAL STATUS. Be sure to check your Spam mailbox.
    5. By completing this dumpster drop form I, the resident, agree to abide by all regulations set forth below and herby accept all responsibility for any damages to Drop Address Property or to the truck or dumpster while on Drop Address property.
    6. MATERIAL and LOAD RESTRICTIONS: Transfer Station regulations require us to abide by the following:
    7. * No liquids, tree stumps, steel drums or hazardous materials.
    8. * Nothing longer or wider than 7 feet is acceptable.
    9. * Appliances are not acceptable (place out curbside on your normal trash day).
    10. * No other trash is permitted to be mixed with tree or brush debris.
    11. * No stone, bricks, concrete or dirt will be accepted.
    12. * Do not fill higher than fill line
    13. * Mattresses must be wrapped and sealed
    14. * No Tires
    15. Dumpster Drops are provided to homeowner residents as a "Courtesy Service" to accommodate those special residential clean-up situations which may occasionally occur. ***They ARE NOT intended to be utilized as a disposal service for large-scale, on-going renovation or lot clearing projects or for Contractor generated debris*** Due to high demand for this service, no more than three drops will be authorized for the same address during any one calendar year.
    16. DO NOT OVERLOAD DUMPSTER - FIRM VEHICLE SURFACE REQUIRED. Dumpster must not be overloaded or loaded in a way the debris may fall off during transport. Loose materials must be contained. ***ANY PORTION OF A LOAD DEEMED TO BE UNSAFE FOR TRANSPORT WILL BE DUMPED OFF BEFORE THE TRUCK LEAVES THE PROPERTY*** If a Load is mixed it will be responsibility of the resident to unload and remove - separate unauthorized materials.
    17. DISCLAIMER: Your use of this Dumpster does not imply that the City of Solon is responsible for any injury’s you or your agents may incur while using it. Nor does it imply that the City of Solon or its workers are responsible for any property damage that may occur while on your property.
    18. YOU AGREE THAT YOUR USE OF THIS DUMPSTER IS AT YOUR OWN RISK: You further agree that the City of Solon and its representatives ASSUME no liability for direct, indirect, incidental, punitive or consequential damages with respect to the services you have requested through the City of Solon Service Department.
