    Increase flexibility, reduce stiffness, and improve balance. Sessions also include Pilates. This is a gentle yoga class, but not chair yoga. Mat work done in the class.

  3. Healthy Joint Exercise

    Exercises focused on strengthening the back and spine, maintaining a healthy knee joint and bolstering the shoulder and rotator cuff. This class utilizes conditioning programs that were adopted by the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.

    In brief, Tai Chi Ch’uan (Grand Ultimate Fist) is simultaneously three very significant things in one: a health nourishing system capable of revitalizing and rejuvenating the entire body irrespective of infirmities or weakness; second, a unique art form with an expressive, slow-motion dance-like quality; and lastly a self-defense science using principles of ‘softness to overcome hardness.’ Ideal for seniors, this slow-motion exercise system makes for the perfect way to recover from illness or injury, lose weight and even increase overall health. Taught by a 30+ year veteran of the Chinese health and fighting arts at world-renowned Green Dragon Kung Fu.
